Imagine Zenitsu As A Demon — A Story-Changing Twist In Demon Slayer

Zenitsu is known for being scared, loud, and dramatic, but also insanely fast and powerful when it truly matters. Even though he comes across as weak, Zenitsu hides serious talent, especially when he's unconscious or pushed into a corner. But imagine if he joined the Demons. What kind of monster would he become?

It's a scary thought. A Demon version of Zenitsu would be one of the fastest and deadliest fighters in the series. His already insane speed would increase even more. Add Demon powers like regeneration and endless stamina, and Zenitsu would turn into something truly unstoppable.

A Breathing Style Demon With No Limits

If Zenitsu turned into a Demon, he’d be one of the very few Demons to use a Breathing Style. Only Kokushibo and Kaigaku have done that. But Zenitsu’s case would be special. He created his own Seventh Form of Thunder Breathing, called Honoikazuchi no Kami. That alone shows how much talent and creativity he has.

As a Demon, his one-strike limit would disappear. Right now, he collapses after one major move. But with Demon stamina and healing, Zenitsu could use his Seventh Form again and again without tiring. That would make him even more dangerous than Kaigaku ever was.

Could Zenitsu As A Demon Become An Upper Moon?

It’s likely that Zenitsu was Demon would earn an Upper Moon spot easily. He could probably replace someone like Gyokko or Daki without much effort. In fact, he might even rival Upper Moons like Nakime or Akaza if he pushed himself further. His combination of speed, skill, and demon powers would be unmatched.

Zenitsu also fights using fear and instinct, and those traits might become even sharper as a Demon. That raw survival energy, now paired with confidence and endless power, would turn him into one of Muzan’s most valuable allies. If Zenitsu joined the Demons, it's a terrifying idea. Luckily, he chose the path of light. But fans can’t help but imagine how different the story would be if Zenitsu walked down the darker path instead.
