His entire body is wrapped in dirty bandages, with only one creepy eye and long, messy hair visible. He wears a torn red dress and flat black shoes, giving him a strangely formal yet terrifying appearance. Instead of hands, he has long, sharp blades that he uses to slice his victims. In fact, the inside of his body isn't human at all; it's just a disgusting mix of hair, blood, and more bandages. As a Demon-level threat, Royal Ripper possesses dangerous abilities. His blade arms make him an expert swordsman who can deliver rapid, unpredictable slashes. He's incredibly fast, able to cut down multiple strong Monsters before they can even react. Additionally, he has superhuman strength, enhanced senses that let him smell humans, and even the weird ability to rearrange his joints for more flexible attacks. Perhaps most disturbingly, he's very durable, as he quickly recovered from a powerful kick from Garou that would have destroyed weaker Monsters. A Psychotic Personality Royal Ripper is what happens when sadism becomes a Monster. Even other Monsters think he's too crazy. Phoenix Man directly called him a "one-of-a-kind psycho who kills for pleasure," and most monsters actually avoid him. He's especially obsessed with torturing children, finding them the most satisfying victims. Black Sperm wasn't surprised when Royal Ripper disappeared with the child Tareo, casually noting that "He couldn't hold back his urges." Shockingly, Royal Ripper doesn't even care about the Monster Association's goals. He tells Tareo, "I was never interested in this war. Even if monsters don't run the world... I can release my urge to shred flesh!" His only purpose is killing, and he happily refers to other monsters with playful honorifics while planning to murder children. Thus, he's a unique blend of childish behavior and pure evil. Royal Ripper's Role And Defeat Royal Ripper's main story role involves testing Garou's monster nature. Gyoro Gyoro sends him and Bug God to see if Garou will kill a human child to prove he's truly a Monster. However, Royal Ripper's bloodlust takes over, and he decides to kill Tareo himself. This leads to an intense battle where Royal Ripper and Bug God nearly kill Garou, especially when Royal Ripper sneaks behind the distracted Hero Hunter and savagely cuts him. Later, after capturing Tareo, Royal Ripper prepares to torture him in a Monster Association cell. He cruelly tells the boy, "No Heroes are coming to your rescue. No one even knows about you." But this time, a much stronger Garou appears. In their final fight, Royal Ripper manages to stab Garou in the abdomen, but Garou instantly punches his head off and uses his Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist to slice the Monster's body to pieces. In a fitting end, Garou then uses Royal Ripper's own bandages to dress his wounds. Royal Ripper shows what a true Monster without humanity really looks like. His defeat marks an important step in Garou's transformation, proving that even when becoming more monstrous, Garou still protects the weak.
