In the world of anime, the question 'Can the Death Note kill Alucard?' is a fun and wild debate among fans of both Hellsing and Death Note. On one side, we have Light Yagami with the all-powerful Death Note, and on the other, the vampire king Alucard, who’s basically unkillable. Both characters are insanely overpowered in their own stories, so what happens when these two worlds cross?
To understand the answer, we need to know how the Death Note works and what exactly Alucard is. Light Yagami uses the Death Note to kill people by simply writing their name while picturing their face. But there are rules, and those rules create some big problems when we try to use it on someone like Alucard.
Check out our YouTube Short to find out whether the Death Note can kill Alucard or not.
Alucard Isn’t Human

First of all, the Death Note is made to kill humans. While Alucard was human once, he’s now a full-on vampire with powers way beyond anything normal. Technically, he’s already dead, so the notebook’s magic might not even work on him, as he may not be a valid target. It’s like trying to kill a ghost with a gun - the rules just don’t line up.
There’s also a rule in the Death Note that says anyone over 124 years old cannot be killed using the notebook. Alucard has lived for centuries, possibly more than 500 years, depending on which version of Hellsing you follow. That alone makes him immune, no matter what Light tries.
Can The Death Note Kill Alucard In Any Way?

Now here’s where it gets crazier. Alucard has absorbed millions of souls over the years, and every one of them works like an extra life. So even if you somehow force the Death Note to kill him, it would just take out one soul. Alucard would instantly return using another one. He can basically resurrect endlessly unless all souls inside him are erased at once, which the Death Note can’t do.
And let’s not forget: Alucard is truly immortal. He can regenerate, teleport, shapeshift, and even exist in a shadow form. His body was destroyed so many times, but he kept coming back. So, in short, no; the Death Note cannot kill Alucard, no matter what Light Yagami tries. He’s too old, too undead, and way too powerful for the notebook’s simple rules. In a battle of brains vs pure immortality, Alucard wins this one easily.
