Mahoraga is known for its insane ability to adapt to any attack, no matter how powerful. But here’s a crazy question that many fans have debated: Can Mahoraga survive a nuclear explosion?

Mahoraga has survived Cursed Techniques and even adapted to Gojo’s Limitless. But nukes are real-world apocalyptic weapons. What Makes Mahoraga So Special?

Mahoraga is the ace up the sleeve of any Ten Shadows user. It has the Wheel of Adaptation on its back, which turns every time it adjusts to a new attack. Whether it’s physical damage, Cursed Energy, or even Domain Expansions, Mahoraga can eventually learn to survive any attack.

That’s what makes it terrifying; even Gojo had a tough time dealing with it. But here’s the catch: Mahoraga doesn’t adapt instantly. It usually takes a few hits or exposures before it completely figures out a way to defend or regenerate from a technique. So, if it faces something that destroys it in one go, it might not get the chance to adapt at all.

Can Mahoraga Survive A Nuclear Explosion?

A full-scale nuclear blast, complete with fire, radiation, and shockwaves, would likely overwhelm Mahoraga before it could even react. Nukes obliterate everything within their radius, and if Mahoraga were caught in the center, there might be nothing left for it to recover from, let alone adapt to. If we had to make a comparison, Mahoraga lost to Sukuna's fire attack during the Shibuya Incident Arc, and a nuclear explosion is likely far more destructive than Sukuna's attack.

Moreover, Mahoraga has only been shown adapting to attacks involving Cursed Energy. A nuclear bomb is a natural force, not a Cursed Technique, so it’s unclear if Mahoraga could even register it as something to adapt to. While it's undeniably powerful within the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, surviving a nuclear strike without any warning or prep time might be beyond even its abilities.
