Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 7 Finally Reveals Zohakuten

In Demon Slayer season 3, episode 7, as Tanjiro approaches Hantengu and stabs the Demon's neck, his deep hatred manifests a new, far stronger Demon, which is the result of the fusion of all four Demons, Aizetsu, Urogi, Sekido, and Karaku.

Fans had been waiting for the reveal of this new monster, and the wait is now over. Zohakuten seems like a real menace to the Demon Slayers, who are trying their best to save the Swordsmith Village from the wrath of these Demons.

Zohakuten Appears In The New Demon Slayer Episode

Hantengu, desperate to escape, is pursued relentlessly by Tanjiro into an open space. Tanjiro sets his sword ablaze and delivers a powerful strike to Hantengu's neck, eliciting an agonizing scream from the diminutive Demon.

Suddenly, an unexpected presence startles Tanjiro as it emerges from behind. The scent is unfamiliar, distinct from the previously revealed Demons. Despite the surprise, Tanjiro remains resolute, refusing to give up on killing Hantengu.

However, his attempt to sever Hantengu's neck is interrupted by the fading of Nezuko's flames. Genya, concerned about accidentally hurting Tanjiro, urges him to step aside and readies his weapon but refrains from firing.

The Demon Slayers are surprised and confused about the presence of this powerful Demon. But then, Genya suddenly recalls that Sekido, the anger Demon, was the one who had transformed into Zohakuten by absorbing the bodies of Urogi, Karaku, and Aizetsu. This forceful absorption lead to the emergence of Zohakuten, who is obviously more stronger than the previously manifested Demons.

Zohakuten's Abilities Explained

Zohakuten's mere presence is enough to scare strong Demon Slayers like Tanjiro and Genya. Tanjiro nearly choked on his breath after Zohakuten gazed at him, whilst Genya was unable to move due to Zohakuten's presence.

Moreover, Zohakuten can use Wood Manipulation, as seen in the episode. The Wooden dragons that he uses to attack Tanjiro are manifested from his Wood Manipulation technique. However, there is more to Zohakuten than meets the eye.

What makes him an unparalleled opponent in battle is his fusion of the four initial Demons' abilities. Zohakuten, a combined manifestation of Sekido, Karaku, Urogi, and Aizetsu, wields the powers of all four, making him a formidable and fearsome force to be reckoned with.
