Hell's Paradise: Are Toma And Chobei Aza Dead?

Episode 7 of Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku takes the story to new heights as the mysteries of the Island become more complex and perilous for the expedition team. In the previous episode, Aza Chobei and Toma stumbled upon two women atop the ruins engaging in a physical act, leaving them surprised and intrigued.
However, as the story progressed, we found more about their abilities and tactics. One of the women turns into a man and says that he will kill Chobei and Toma. Let's see what lies in the fate of the Bandit King and his brother.

What Happened In Hell's Paradise Episode 7?

Chobei and Toma defeat the mysterious creatures that fill the Island. Chobei goes on to drink the blood of one of these creatures to stay hydrated. However, suddenly they hear some noises coming from the ruins.
As Chobei and Toma walk towards the noise, they find two women engaging in the act of physical intimacy on top of the ruins. Toma thinks to himself about how these women are so carefree in such a dangerous environment.
When the women see Chobei and Toma, one of them, named Ju Fa, gets furious, whilst the other one is intrigued. Tao Fa, the woman who was glad to see Chobei and Toma, then proceeds to say that it is rare for humans to get this far and they should join them in their act.
While Ju Fa asks Tao Fa to stop being gross, and Ju Fa seemed angry. He then proceeds to turn into a man and states that he will kill Chobei and Toma, both of who are still surprised about how the woman transformed into a man.
Chobei and Toma successfully slice off Ju Fa's body in half. However, he regenerates in no time and stands strong against the brothers. Chobei then proceeds to attack Ju Fa again, but this time, the latter breaks his axe into pieces with nothing but just a touch.
Are Toma And Chobei Aza Dead In Hell's Paradise?

The brothers are thrown into a well by Ju Fa in a half-dead condition. In the well, many other humans lay, but to their surprise, the bodies of these humans were blooming. Before his luck ran out, Chobei is rescued by Toma from the branches that had started to engulf Chobei.
Ju Fa thinks that they are dead, however, they did not meet the same fate as the others in the well. Chobei and Toma will get out in the later episodes, as the former piggybacks Toma, and they get out of the well, and Chobei vows to take revenge on Ju Fa.
