Hell's Paradise: Who Are Doshi?

Hell's Paradise episode 10 revealed more about the mysterious Tensen and how things go on Kotaku Island. There are a lot of mysteries still left to be uncovered, but the new episode revealed a new one related to Doshi.

Aza brothers just came out of the pit and encountered a Doshi, who introduces himself to be one of the rights hands to the Tensen. There are, however, a lot of doubts regarding who are Doshi in Hell's Paradise. Here is all you need to know.

What Happened In Hell's Paradise Episode 10?

Chobei and Toma come out of the pit and start to analyze the situation and how they would defeat Tensen. Suddenly, they feel the presence of a strange creature beside them and instantly make their distance.

As they ask the creature who he is, he says he is a Doshi. Chobei says that Ju Fa mentioned the Soshin. To this, the creature says that comparing him to the Soshin would be an insult because the latter lacks intellect. The Soshin are not allowed into Horai, and they are no more than dumb creatures.

He says that the Doshi are trained right under the Tensen in their palace. Chobei does not care to listen to him one bit and attacks him. However, there is no effect of the attack on the Doshi.

Who Are Doshi In Hell's Paradise?

The Doshi are extraordinary creatures dedicated to serving as students, servants, and a formidable military force for Lord Tensen. In addition, the title of Doshi is bestowed upon lower-ranking Sennin, who undergo rigorous training in the Five Training Methods of Immortality under the guidance of the esteemed Tensen.

Physically, the Doshi possess human bodies, but their heads exhibit insect-like, plant-based, or other unique characteristics. While they typically don changshan attire, certain Doshi have the option of wearing ceremonial Taoist robes embellished with beaded necklaces and a headpiece featuring the symbolic Yin-Yang emblem.

Unlike the Soshin and Moshin, the Doshi exhibit higher levels of intelligence and distinct individual personalities. Their commitment to Lord Tensen as both servants and students are unwavering, allowing them to focus wholeheartedly on their Tao training within the sacred realm of Horai.

Doshi's Powers And Abilities Explained

Since Doshi were students to Lord Tensen, they too used the control of Tao as their source of strength. Their techniques enhance their physical prowess, harden their bodies, and attack using invisible projectiles.

Doshi also have regenerative abilities like the Lord Tensen, but their abilities are weaker than the latter. Doshi can be killed by incinerating their bodies to ash, decapitating them, or by attacking their Tandens.
