Every episode of Hell's Paradise has something interesting to reveal. In episode 7, the identity of the Tensen were revealed, who are immortal beings and the rulers of Kotaku Island. These beings are the ones responsible for guarding the Elixir of Life.


In episode 8, Yamada Asaemon Tenza, who is assigned to Nurugai, is killed by another human-looking creature on the island. It really made the fans wonder who is Zhu Jin in Hell's Paradise, the person who survived the beheading and killed a talented Yamada Asaemon with ease.



Who Is Zhu Jin In Hell's Paradise

Zhu Jin, a prominent antagonist in Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, is a member of Lord Tensen. Zhu Jin is characterized as lacking enthusiasm and often display a bored expression. Their laziness is evident in their minimal effort during the Five Training Methods of Immortality.



When encountering Gabimaru at Horai's gate, Zhu Jin expresses disappointment in having to repeat their task and initially pleads to him to leave instead of engaging in a fight. Their negligent approach leads to difficulties against formidable opponents, prompting them to rely on their Kishikai abilities to rectify their mistakes.

Zhu Jin possesses immense power, ranking as one of the most powerful beings on the island. They exerted authority over various island inhabitants and demonstrated god-like abilities when facing skilled adversaries like Yamada Asaemon Tenza and Shion. Zhu Jin's strength was evident in their ability to create craters and match Gabimaru.


With mastery over the water-attribute Tao, Zhu Jin's refined skills are considered god-like. They could sense others, discern opponents' movements and weak points, and enhance their physical attacks. Tao-infused strikes pierced even highly durable bodies, effortlessly puncturing targets with a single finger.


As a Tensen, Zhu Jin possesses regenerative abilities through Flower Tao, quickly healing from injuries inflicted by Gabimaru and resurrecting themself after Tenza cut their body numerous times. Their regeneration could be weakened by Earth-attribute Tao users or by destroying their plant ovule within their tanden.


Zhu Jin demonstrated the ability to switch between Yin and Yang chi, altering their Tao and recovering lost energy. They could even partially switch specific body parts. In a battle with Shion, Zhu Jin combined both sexes to expedite Tao's recovery.
