In Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo is known as the Strongest Sorcerer, and his power, Infinity, is what makes him nearly untouchable. But fans often wonder: can his Infinity stop something huge and destructive, like a meteor? It’s one thing to stop punches or bullets, but a meteor is a whole different level. It’s not Cursed Energy, it’s not a jujutsu technique; it’s a massive, natural force falling from space.
So, could Gojo really block something like that? In the anime, Gojo explains that Infinity creates an invisible barrier around him where things slow down as they approach. But the size, speed, and impact of a meteor bring up some interesting what-if scenarios.
Check out our YouTube short to find out whether Gojo can survive a meteor.
How Gojo’s Infinity Works

Gojo’s Infinity is based on the concept of 'infinite space' between him and anything trying to touch him. Instead of actually stopping things, Infinity slows them down infinitely, so they never make contact. Even simple things like a finger poke won’t reach him because they’re endlessly getting slower as they approach.
Against normal attacks, even Cursed Techniques, this power is unbeatable. It keeps Gojo completely untouchable. He can choose who or what can reach him by turning Infinity on or off. This control is part of what makes him so deadly in battle. But the big question is, would Infinity still work against something like a meteor, something that doesn’t use Cursed Energy at all?
Can Gojo Survive A Meteor?

Now here’s where things get tricky. A meteor is just a giant rock moving really fast. It’s not cursed, it’s not alive, and it has no intent. But the problem is the explosion. When a meteor hits the Earth, it doesn’t need to touch you to kill you. The shockwave, heat, and destruction around it could wipe out entire cities.
So, can Satoru Gojo stop a meteor with Infinity? Technically, yes; he personally wouldn’t be touched. However, the meteor would still crash into the Earth and cause massive damage around Gojo. It’s a fun question that shows why Gojo alone is the honored one, but also reminds us that even in Jujutsu Kaisen, there are limits when it comes to raw, natural force.
