The Star Religious Group, also called the Time Vessel Association, is a special organization that worships Master Tengen as their god. It all started a long time ago when Master Tengen began spreading Japanese Buddhism. The group was formed because jujutsu and religion didn't agree with each other. But the Time Vessel Association stuck to their belief in one god, even as time went on and things changed.

By 2006, the Time Vessel Association had become a rich religious group operating in the hidden world of jujutsu. They saw Master Tengen as their most important deity, often calling them the Star. This made them known as the Star Religious Group to the public. The people who followed this faith were called the Children of the Star. Being part of this group meant they couldn't be targeted by jujutsu sorcerers, which made them special.

The Significance Of The Group In Gojo's Past Arc

The Time Vessel Association is really important in Jujutsu Kaisen because they worship Master Tengen with all their hearts. But now, there's a big problem. Master Tengen might merge with the Star Plasma Vessel due to their immortality Curse, and that would make the association impure, since they worship a pure Master Tengen, which they think is really bad.

They can't fight this threat themselves, they use their money and resources to hire the Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro. Therefore, they offer to pay him thirty-million yen to kill the Star Plasma Vessel named Riko Amanai.
