What Happened In Episode 1

The first episode of My Hero Academia Season 8, “Toshinori Yagi: Rising Origin,” continued directly from the Season 7 finale. It focused on All Might’s fight against a revived All For One. Even though All Might no longer has his quirk, he uses a special armor suit powered by gadgets based on his students’ quirks.

The fight quickly turned against All Might, as All For One used his power to rewind himself to his younger, stronger form. Just when things looked hopeless, Hero Killer Stain appeared and used his Bloodcurdle quirk to stop All For One, saving All Might’s life.

Besides this main fight, the episode also highlights Aoyama and Hagakure. Their teamwork leads to a major moment when Hagakure becomes fully visible for the first time in the series, which shows both, her bravery and emotional growth.
