Sadao asked Chi to speak more softly while they were working so as not to scare the customers. Later, when Kisaki visited the cafe, Sadao complimented her coffee-making skills, and she revealed her special training. After Emi believed her father was dead, she was consumed by revenge, but when she learned he was alive, she lost her purpose.
Chi told them that Sariel's assistance was no longer available due to Kisaki's ban, so they decided to focus on their work at McRonald's. While walking home with Sadao after joining barista training, Kisaki met Emi and her friend. Sadao noticed Emi was hiding her tears and talked to her, suggesting she return with Camio.
But Emi got even more frustrated and questioned Sadao's determination to take over the world. Before he could answer, Sadao suddenly teleported away because a new devil named Farfarello appeared with unique abilities. Farfarello suggested Sadao join their team to conquer Ente Isla. Angry at Maou, Emi broke through the barrier, drew her sword, and embraced her duty as the Hero of the realm. The demon called his doll for help, but Emi skillfully countered all the attacks and forced him to retreat.
