Muichiro Tokito has already stolen the show with the commencement of the Swordsmith Village arc of Demon Slayer. The Mist Hashira initially starts fighting Upper Rank 4, Hantengu but is blown away due to the Demon's technique. While returning to the place of the attack to save the village, Tokito runs across Upper Rank 5, Gyokko, who intends to stop him from running to the rescue of the villagers. However, Gyokko himself is a formidable opponent and uses his techniques to overpower Muichiro. Let's see how the battle turned out and see if Muichiro Tokito dies in Demon Slayer, or will this 14-year-old Hashira come out on top? As Tokito rushes to the rescue of young Kotetsu after saving him from the giant fish, he asks Kotetsu about a swordsmith named Kanamori. Kotetsu agrees to show him the way toward Kanamori, as he is Tokito's new swordsmith. The pair finds Kanamori sitting on a tree branch, trying to save himself from fish Demon. Tokito saves Kanamori, and the three rush to Kanamori's shed to get Tokito's sword, because the one that the latter was using had been chipped and severely damaged. Getting close to the shed, Tokito suddenly stops and senses the presence of a Demon around the shed. This was the moment when Gyokko introduced himself to the Mist Hashira. As the battle commences, Gyokko reveals to be quite a force to be reckoned with because of his offensive power and speed. Gyokko is seen to have several aces up his sleeve, one of them being Water Prison Pot, which traps its victim inside a shield of water, and the cherry on top is that the sword cannot cut through it. Does Muichiro Tokito Die In Demon Slayer? Gyokko goes on to say that he has blocked the greatest weapon of a Demon Slayer, that is, his breathing. It makes the fans wonder whether the Mist Hashira will be able to break out of this Water Prison or if Gyokko be the last Demon he ever fights. It is a great relief that Tokito will be able to break out of Gyokko's Blood Demon Art by finding inspiration in the words of Tanjiro. Initially, Tokito tries the first form of Mist Breathing, but this thrusting technique fails, and he loses the will to fight and accepts defeat. However, he hallucinates Tanjiro speaking to him while Kotetsu slashes the water trap and blows air in the trap to provide Muichiro with enough oxygen to perform his second Breathing Form. Finally, he is able to break out of Gyokko's trap. Does Tokito Die Later In The Series? Unfortunately, the viewers will have to witness the death of the Mist Hashira while fighting Kokushibo. And his death will awaken a fire of hatred in the hearts of the viewers for the Demons. This 14-year-old Hashira is killed in the most agonizing way one can imagine. Kokushibo, who is Upper Rank 1, obliterates Miuchiro's limbs and ends him off with a lethal attack, slashing off the latter's torso. Such a death to a 14-year-old kid is really heart-wrenching.
