He reminds us of what could have happened to Kaneki if things had gone differently. Takizawa went through terrible torture and became a crazy cannibal with no trace of his old self. It's interesting because, before this, he was just a minor character with a simple plot about feeling jealous. But after turning into a ghoul, he became a frightening villain worth being afraid of. It's enjoyable to see this unexpected transformation and worth going back to read or watch again. 9/10 Koutarou Amon He is a prominent character in Tokyo Ghoul and made a lasting impact on the series. As Ken Kaneki's former rival, Amon's determination to eliminate ghouls and improve the world struck a chord with fans. His attractive appearance, along with his earnestness and dedication to training, added to his appeal. Amon's memorable personality and strong moral compass positioned him as a significant secondary character in Tokyo Ghoul, leaving a lasting impression on the storyline. 8/10 Kishou Arima Kishou starts as a bad guy but is actually a good guy. Even though he doesn't appear much in the first part, he cares for Kaneki like a father and knows he won't live for long. That's why he looks for someone to take his place, and Kaneki becomes that person. Arima is known for being undefeated and the only one who can beat him is himself. Arima is a complex character, strong, smart, good-looking, and has a pessimistic outlook. He's seen as perfect, and his only rival is himself. 7/10 Hinami Fueguchi Hinami shares a special bond with Kaneki and Touka, who act like older siblings to her. She is loved by many fans for being incredibly cute and adorable. Throughout the series, they go through tough situations together, and Hinami greatly appreciates their support. But even though I'm disappointed, I still love Uta. He's awesome with his tattoos, piercings, and his unique black and red eyes. He's strong and interesting, and I wish we could have seen more of him. 5/10 Eto Yoshimura The One-Eyed Owl evokes a strong and contrasting response from Tokyo Ghoul fans. Her captivating appeal lies in her dual nature: a lethal killer alongside a childlike and friendly demeanor. This intriguing mix of traits, including her occasional clumsiness and bashfulness, adds a unique charm to her character. Eto's immense power as a ghoul fuels the intense emotions she elicits from audiences, whether positive or negative. Additionally, her role as a popular horror writer in the human world further adds to her enigmatic presence. 4/10 Juuzou Suzuya Fans adore his wild antics, be it riding motorcycles or decapitating enemies. But what makes him truly special is his character development. Initially, he's a talented but unstable kid. However, when his mentor falls into a coma, Juuzou grows into a mentor figure himself. He becomes more mature while still embracing his chaotic nature. Fans enjoy watching his interactions with Mutsuki and his cheerful disposition while fighting. These reasons make him one of the best characters in Tokyo Ghoul. 3/10 Hideyoshi Nagachika He is Kaneki's best friend in Tokyo Ghoul and is a lovable character who adds humor and support to the story. Despite Kaneki's actions and physical changes, Hide remains compassionate and understanding. Kaneki's control over multiple Kagunes makes him a formidable opponent, with a wide range of powerful attacks. Kaneki's commitment to preserving his humanity as well as protecting his loved ones establishes him as the most lovable character in Tokyo Ghoul.
