She’s not the kind of fighter who can go head-to-head with a strong Upper Moon for long. Her final fight showed how clever she really was, but it also proved her physical limits. 8/9 Tengen Uzui – The Sound Hashira Tengen is flashy, loud, and full of energy. As the Sound Hashira, he developed his own Breathing Style based on rhythm and explosions. He’s a former ninja, so he’s super fast, strong, and skilled in close combat. He also fights with dual swords connected by a chain, which gives him a wild and unpredictable style. But despite his speed and flashy moves, Tengen falls short compared to the stronger Hashira. He struggled a lot during the battle against Upper Moon Six, and needed major help from Tanjiro and the others. He also lost an eye and an arm in that fight, which forced him to retire. He’s a solid fighter, no doubt, but not on the same level as the top-tier Hashira. 7/9 Mitsuri Kanroji – The Love Hashira Mitsuri’s strength is honestly surprising. She looks soft and cheerful, but she has unbelievable muscle density. Her Love Breathing style is flexible, fast, and super hard to predict. Her whip-like Nichirin sword gives her amazing range and control, and she can dodge attacks while striking from crazy angles. In her fight against Upper Moon Four, she showed incredible endurance and power. However, her emotional nature sometimes gets in the way, and she’s not as battle-smart as others. Her strength is definitely there, but in terms of raw skill and calm-headed decision-making, she’s still a step below the top five. 6/9 Obanai Iguro – The Serpent Hashira Obanai is quiet and mysterious, but don’t underestimate him. His Serpent Breathing style is sharp, precise, and snake-like; meaning his attacks are twisted and hard to dodge. He’s also very fast and highly skilled in swordsmanship. His loyalty to the Corps and his strong will help him push through pain and injury. Obanai really shines during the final battles. He works well with Mitsuri, and when he teams up with Gyomei, we see just how smart and focused he is. While he doesn’t have the flashiest moves, his calm and calculated style makes him deadly. 5/9 Muichiro Tokito – The Mist Hashira Muichiro may look like a spaced-out kid, but he’s a prodigy. He became a Hashira just two months after picking up a sword. His Mist Breathing style is confusing and quick, and his movements are almost impossible to read. If he had more time to grow, he might’ve been the strongest of them all. 4/9 Kyojuro Rengoku – The Flame Hashira Rengoku is probably the most loved Hashira, and for good reason. He’s noble, kind, and an absolute beast in battle. His Flame Breathing is strong, clean, and powerful. He took on Akaza, the Upper Moon 3 Demon, alone, and held his ground longer than anyone thought possible. What makes Rengoku special is his heart. His willpower, discipline, and sense of duty are unmatched. Even Akaza respected him, but despite all that, he still couldn’t defeat Akaza and lost his life in that fight.  The only reason he’s not ranked even higher is that some Hashira managed to win fights that Rengoku couldn’t. 3/9 Giyu Tomioka – The Water Hashira Giyu is calm, quiet, and incredibly skilled. His Water Breathing technique is beautiful and deadly. He’s known for his precise swordsmanship and sharp instincts. Giyu was the first Hashira we ever met, and he’s been saving lives since the start. In the final battle, Giyu held his own against Akaza, something only Rengoku attempted before. And this time, with Tanjiro’s help, Akaza was actually defeated. Annie used it really well, showing off martial arts and combat skills that made her a nightmare to fight. But in terms of raw power, it doesn’t stand out that much anymore. But when things got tough, he turned into a Demon instead of standing his ground. He became a replacement for Upper Moon 6 after Daki and Gyutaro died, and his Blood Demon Art is a twisted version of Thunder Breathing, with added demon powers. Even though he was powerful, Kaigaku lacked true spirit, and Zenitsu, with all his doubts and fears, still managed to beat him. It’s ironic and satisfying to see Zenitsu rise above someone who once looked down on him. Kaigaku was strong, but not strong enough where it counted. 9/10 Daki Daki is deadly, stylish , and too consumed with herself. She uses obi sashes that can slice through buildings, trap people, and move around like snakes. Her Blood Demon Art is both beautiful and terrifying. She caused chaos in the Entertainment District, giving a hard time to our heroes, especially Zenitsu and Inosuke. But her biggest weakness is her overconfidence. Once the Demon Slayers figured out her connection to Gyutaro, she struggled to keep up. Without her, the Entertainment District Arc wouldn't have been a fan favorite. That alone makes her deserve a spot on this list. 8/10 Gyutaro Gyutaro is the main muscle of the Demon siblings in the Entertainment District. With his poisoned sickles and insane speed, he has killed multiple Hashira and Demon Slayers. His Blood Demon Art lets him launch blood slashes that cut through anything. Gyutaro is also incredibly durable, as he kept fighting even with his head nearly off. His bond with his sister Daki makes their duo even harder to deal with. If his neck wasn’t sliced at the same time as Daki’s, they would’ve kept regenerating forever. This unique trait, along with his strength, makes him one of the strongest Demons in Demon Slayer. 7/10 Gyokko This guy has a weird obsession with art and turning people into art, literally. Gyokko hides inside creepy pots and moves around through them like portals. His Blood Demon Art allows him to summon deadly fish-like creatures and control water-based attacks. But once Muichiro unlocked his mark , it was game over for Gyokko. He’s full of fear and runs away at the first sign of danger. But don’t be fooled - when he splits into clones, each one has a different personality with a very different and deadly power. It’s like fighting a whole squad of Demons at once. His final form, called Zohakuten, controls wood dragons and giant attacks that crush everything. It took Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya all working together to beat him. Hantengu might look like a coward, but he’s seriously dangerous and super hard to kill. 5/10 Akaza Unlike other Demons, Akaza is all about raw strength. He doesn't care about tricks or fancy techniques - he wants a straight-up fight. Akaza uses Destructive Death, a fighting style based on martial arts, and his blows hit like a truck. He also has one of the most emotional backstories in the series. His fight with Rengoku is one of the best moments in Demon Slayer . Even though Rengoku was insanely strong, Akaza came out on top. But what really stands out is that Akaza regrets his actions. He’s not just a monster, but a tragic character who lost his way. 4/10 Doma Don’t let the smile fool you - Doma is a cold-hearted monster. He hides behind charm and politeness, but he’s one of the cruelest Demons out there. His Blood Demon Art lets him create deadly ice attacks, and he can freeze his enemies in an instant. He has killed multiple Hashira, and Kanae and Shinobu are two of them. Even during his fight with Inosuke and Kanao, it was only Shinobu’s poison inside his body that helped take him down. He’s the kind of villain who acts friendly while literally turning people into popsicles. 3/10 Kokushibo Kokushibo is one of the most skilled swordsmen in the series, and the only Demon to use a Breathing Technique . He was once a Demon Slayer himself and the brother of Yoriichi, the strongest Demon Slayer ever. After becoming a Demon, he kept his sword skills and even developed a creepy blade made from his own flesh. No wonder he's one of the strongest Demons in Demon Slayer. It took a whole army of Demon Slayers, all the Hashira, and a crazy amount of luck to finally bring him down. That tells you just how scary he was. 1/10 Demon King Tanjiro Yes, you read that right. For a short moment, Tanjiro became the strongest Demon in Demon Slayer. After Muzan's death, his cells moved into Tanjiro’s body, turning our sweet boy into something terrifying. And the worst part? He was immune to sunlight , a weakness every other Demon had. As the Demon King, Tanjiro was stronger than Muzan himself. His body could regenerate like crazy, and he was completely out of control. It took Nezuko and the others to snap him out of it, or else the world might’ve faced a new threat worse than Muzan. It was scary to see him like that, even for just a moment. After all, he’s the first Demon, the creator of every other Demon in the series, and the reason for all the pain the characters go through. But when we finally reach the Final Arc and see him in action, something just feels off. The build-up to Muzan was amazing. He was always in the shadows, mysterious and powerful, with a creepy calmness that made him so scary. But once the final battle starts, his character becomes less interesting. Instead of a smart, terrifying mastermind, he becomes a screaming, angry monster. And for many fans, that shift made him the weakest part of an otherwise amazing ending. At the start of the story, he’s clever, calm, and almost god-like in how he controls everything from behind the scenes. But once he starts fighting the Demon Slayers directly, he just turns into a monster who wants to survive at any cost. He doesn’t show much emotion or depth anymore; just fear, rage, and arrogance. We don’t learn anything new about his thoughts, regrets, or real motivations in the final battle. He becomes one-dimensional, which is disappointing for a villain who had so much build-up. Compared to characters like Akaza or Kokushibo , who had emotional and layered backstories, Muzan feels flat. The Final Fight Felt Dragged Out The final fight between Muzan and the Demon Slayers should’ve been the most intense part of the series. But instead of feeling epic, it feels a bit too long and repetitive. Muzan’s body keeps changing, he keeps healing, and the Demon Slayers just keep trying to slow him down until sunrise. There’s tension, yes, but not much emotion or surprise. Also, since Muzan doesn’t have any real connection with most of the Hashira, the emotional weight just isn’t there. With other battles, like Rengoku vs. Akaza or Tokito vs. Gyokko, we cared deeply because of the characters’ emotions. But Muzan’s fight is mostly just about time, not feelings. It starts to feel more like a long boss fight than a final emotional moment. Muzan Was Missing A Personal Rival In Demon Slayer Another reason Muzan didn’t hit as hard in the Final Arc is that he didn’t have a true rival. For instance, Tanjiro has a motivation to defeat him, but Muzan doesn’t even care about Tanjiro personally. Unlike Naruto vs. Sasuke or Goku vs. Frieza, there’s no real connection between the hero and the final villain. Yoriichi was the only one who truly scared Muzan in the past, and that story was amazing. If Muzan and Yoriichi had met again somehow, maybe through Tanjiro or a memory, it could’ve added much more depth. But Muzan just treats everyone as insects beneath him.
